Yes we're here to talk a little about that expression which can answer a lot of tricky questions and solve a lot of complicated problems
and you might be wondering right now why the hell am i writing this topic in English ..... well if you've concentrated enough in the title you might have figured it out (besides... i wanna improve my English
)
for me ... when thinking about this expression i always remember a story for Einstein you may not know
Einstein asked a boy if he wants to play a game the boy said yes
the rules were simple .... Einstein will ask the boy a question and if he couldn't answer the boy will pay 5 dollars
and then the boy will ask Einstein a question about anything he wants but this time if Einstein can't answer he'll pay 500 dollars to the kid
so..
Einstein asked the kid "Why Earth has gravity ?"
the boy put his hand in his pocket and gave him 5 dollars
and then it was the kid's turn to ask so he kept thinking for a period of time and then the kid said
"What is the thing that mounts up with 3 legs and goes down with only one ?"
Einstein was shocked by the question
and he asked the kid to give him a minute to
Think
and after half hour Einstein hopelessly gave the boy 500 dollars
but then Einstein was very curious about the answer so he asked the kid about that thing
Do you know what the kid did ?
he gave Einstein 5 dollars
!!!!!!!
I know the story is funny enough to create a whole new thread in the "
Farfashah Section"
but let's stop laughing for a second and try to
Think about what the kid did
Was he really smarter than Einstein ?
the answer may vary from someone to another
for me i
Think he is the smartest kid i may ever hear about
but for you you may
Think he was too childish to take the competition seriously
my point is when you
Think outside the box things may change to be on your side
I mean the rules were simple enough not to evade someone's mind
but when he thought
outside the box and used the issue of the rules he defeated Einstein himself
So as you may figure out right now what does it mean to
Think outside the box it means
thinking in a different way
I'm not saying that thinking INSIDE the box is considered "bad thinking" (In fact thinking inside the box might give you the idea on how to
Think outside the box)
I'm just saying that things may not be as they look
i also mean that even in the trickiest conditions there is a way out and that way is simple and easy as eating a piece of cake
so now the only thing that's left is how to find the way out
basically thinking in a different way should handle this
for example if the kid kept thinking inside the box he wouldn't find any questions that can lead him to earn 500 dollars in a few minutes
same thing happened when Columbus asked his haters to make an egg stand on it's top
they couldn't understand how to do that simply because this opposed all the gravity laws
but when
Columbus explained how to do it they felt stupid and they even have hated him more
the idea was to smash the top of the egg to create a flat part of it and make it stand
so it's all about using issues like when "
Fares" gave us this picture and challenged us to connect all the circles with 4 straight lines and without lifting the pen from the paper
it had nothing to do with intelligent thinking it was all about Thinking
outside the box and using issues
he said connect the circles with four straight lines and without lifting the pen but he didn't say anything about drawing the line inside the frame
so the method was to make the line goes out of the frame and goes back to it
and by doing this the line will cross all the circles as the rules he gave
so the brief moral of all of these words is to
Think in a different way and to
Think of all the possibilities and ways to accomplish your purpose
and if you apply this example on the real life you should find everything getting solved very easily
before you leave this page please give us an example from your life when you had to use the "Outside the box" method to get things done
one last thing
