School in Palestine!

The journey starts here in Hebron

المدرسة في فلسطين!

تبدأ الرحلة هنا في المعبر

the children starting their day going to school to be faced with a checkpoint:

عند الذهاب إلى المدرسة يبدأ الأطفال يومهم بمواجهة نقطة التفتيش

the soldiers prevent them from passing and give them orders to go home

يمنعهم الجنود من المرور ويأمروهم بالعودة للمنزل

the children try to challenge the soldiers and pass the checkpoint

يحاول الأطفال تحدي الجنود وتجاوز نقطة التفتيش

حتى الأصغر سنا يحاولون ولكن دون جدوى

even younger ones try but in vain

وينتهي بهم الأمر بتلقي دروسهم في الشارع عند نقطة التفتيش

they end up having their classes in the street by the checkpoint

يالها من شجاعة مدهشة

what an amazing spirit

the boys try a little bit harder:

يحاول الصبية على نحو أشد نوعا ما:

they got shot at,

فيضربوا،

and some arrested

ويقبض على بعضهم

yet in their eyes you see determination and dignity

ويبقى التحدي والكبرياء في عيونهم

If you have a heart at all you will pass this on to all your friends and MAYBE someone will realize what
Palestinians go through everyday!!
